The South of France... the mfch Provence tour Whether you're searching for rare collectibles and unique souvenirs or simply browsing for bargains, antiques fairs in France are well-stocked, brimming with history and offer inimitable brocante experiences. By region, here are some of our favorites to add to your visit-list.
Foire de Chatou
Twice a year, the Ile des Impressionnistes - accessible on metro or 10 minutes from Paris bv car - welcomes 35,000 visitors for the Foire de Chatou. One of the most important and celebrated antiques fairs in the world, 700 dealers with an impressive range of specialties gather to exhibit over 12 days, with gastronomic delights from local farmers like Corsican sausages, oysters from Brittany, cheese from Savoy and more.
Place Saint-Sulpice- the stunning square in front of the Église Saint-Sulpice in Paris 6' arrondissement, transforms into a chic, bustling market attended by some of the country's most reputable collectors and dealers. There you will find everything from one-of-a-kind furnishings, knick-knacks and jewelry to decorative objects, vintage clothes, ceramics, old books, maps and more
Les Puces du Design
Created in 1999, the Puces du Design - which became Design Fair Paris in spring 2018 - has been bringing together for twenty years a select group of antique dealers specialising in furniture, decorative objects and fashion from the 1950s to the 1980s. This open-air event takes place twice a year: in spring and autumn. More than 70 exhibitors will present over 5,000 m² of well-known pieces by Panton, Saarinen, Eames, Dior, Saint-Laurent and Courrèges. Not to mention anonymous pieces that may not be recognized until tomorrow. More than 20,000 visitors flock there each time. The proposed pieces are relatively expensive, so we come here mainly for the pleasure of the eyes!
